2017 DeMarini CF Zen Reviews

The newest baseball bat available from DeMarini is the 2017 DeMarini CF Zen (click here to see Best BBCOR Bats of 2017). For those who have been looking forward to the DeMarini CF9, however, this baseball bat will not be made as the company has made the “CF Zen” instead. Don’t worry though. The 2016 DeMarini CF8 is being followed up on by the 2017 DeMarini CF Zen. The “CF Zen” will be a lot like the 2015 DeMarini CF7 and the 2016 DeMarini CF8. It is a two-piece, balanced baseball bat. It has been created with a larger sized barrel as well. This upgraded design brings the ability for professional performance levels along with a larger R & D budget, thanks to DeMarini / Wilson’s Company.

The reviews show that just about anyone who wanted to try the “CF Zen” and did, didn’t regret it. They were extremely impressed. This bat clearly dominates the Big Barrel bats, the Senior League, and the serious athlete in the BBCOR (check out top BBCOR Bats here). It is guessed that this bat will succeed in all areas, just the same as the models that have come before it.

Best Place to Buy the 2017 CF Zen?

We have searched far and wide to find the best price on the CF Zen. There are lots of good places, but we continue to find that the patient buyer on eBay can get the best deal. Now that this bat is off of map, you can find the best CF ZEZ pricing here.

The 2017 DeMarini CF Zen Is Suggested For Athletes Who Fall Into Any Of The Following:

  • The player who has preference to a light-weight swing for the barrel and a balanced baseball bat.
  • The player who requires equal assistance with bat speed and bat control.
  • The player who would like to have a high level baseball bat with maximum performance along the whole length.
  • The player that has the time to devote to breaking in the bat. On average, two hundred swings or so.
  • The player with the preference of purchasing a bat from a company with a great track record as well as great customer service.
  • The player who liked the success they had with either the 2015 CF7 or the 2016 CF8.
  • The player who preferred using the Easton MAKO bat but is looking to try something a bit different.
  • The player who is interested in much forgiveness during miss-hits.
  • The player who doesn’t care how much they spend on their sports gear.

Important Note: In most cases, athletes that have a preference for aluminum alloy bats would more often than not place the 2017 DeMarini CF Zen Bat on their wish list.

2017 DeMarini CF Zen Vs. Comparable Baseball Bats:

Just about every baseball gear company on the planet has tried to re-create the DeMarini CF Model series in one way or another. This makes the comparable baseball bats quite long, if you asked the other companies, however, being the 2017 DeMarini CF Zen Review makes me limit this list to the top bats. The ones being mentioned are considered top-shelf in terms of where they lie on the popularity of the market as well as for price as well as performance.

The top two baseball bats that are close to the DeMarini CF Zen are:

  1. The 2017 Easton MAKO (Beast) Bat.
  2. The 2017 Louisville Slugger 917 (Prime) Bat.

The 2017 DeMarini CF Zen Sizing Guide:

As with past years’ models of the DeMarini CF baseball bats, the sizes available are vast. Just about any size needed is available including, the Youth Barrel – 2 ¼, the Senior League – Drop 10 – 2 5/8, Junior Barrel – 2 ¾, Big Barrel – 2 ¾, as well as the BBCOR sizing.

The 2017 DeMarini CF Zen: How Is It Made?

The 2017 DeMarini CF Zen is made from carbon fiber and is a two-piece composite baseball bat. The two-piece composite baseball bats are extremely popular and that popularity has grown over the last few years. DeMarini’s bat line is most likely the leading reason for this growth in popularity.

The two-piece carbon fiber, or plastic, baseball bats are created by forming both the handle and the barrel separately. After they are formed, they are then melded together. A stiff transition is required to shove all the power to the ball, but also, a very hard transition shoving all the power during transfer can lead to a lot of stinging of the hand during miss-hits. This, in turn, removes the soft feel that most athletes love or, in turn, hate about the composite, two-piece baseball bat.

DeMarini states that they have a certain method which gives both the swing power and the advantage of no stinging within the hands during miss-hits. The statement is known as the D-Fusion 2.0 Handle, which was also available on DeMarini CF8. The D-Fusion 2.0 Handle uses a dampener during the mend which controls the vibration through the hands, while still being hard enough to give maximum power to the baseball.

This form of transition mending of the composite, two-piece bat is top of the line in the entire industry. It is ranked even with the Easton MAKO bat line, if not a bit better for the smoothness when connecting to the ball.

If you are a serious baseball player and looking for a bat and fit the above criteria, this is definitely the bat to help take your game to the next level.
